A brief review paper in Adv Mater

We publish a review paper in Adv. Mater. on the theory and experimental advances in bulk photovoltaic effect and its application.

The bulk photovoltaic effect belongs on one promising nonlinear optics process that converts light field into a static electric current or voltage. Our group has been devoted into this field for a few years, focusing on its emergence in various quantum materials such as ferroelectrics, topological insulators, (anti-)magnets, and helimagnets. Invited by the Advanced Materials, we wrote a Review article that describe the basic concept, mechanism, experimental evidences, and future challenges on the bulk photovoltaic effect. The work has been online recently, and one may refer to https://advanced.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/adma.202517783 for more details.
