Jian Zhou is a Professor of materials science at Xi’an Jiaotong University, focusing on theoretical and numerical understanding of physical behavior of quantum materials. With co-authored in over 100 peer reviewed publications (in PNAS, PRL, JACS, etc.), he has a total citation of over 9,000 times with an h-index of 44. Prior to the current position, he was employed at Virginia Commonwealth University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology as postdoc associates. Some selected honors include: National Young Talent Program, Elsvier Highly Cited Scholar in China, Outstanding Reviewer in npj Computational Materials, Top 2% Scientists in the career life and yearly lists.
